Recommend a Hosting company?

Hi All,

I'm looking around for a hosting company primarily to start a blog and I've stumbled on this: [Only registered and activated members with 10 posts or more can see links.]

it seems to provide a lot of features and is relatively cheap. Does any one use them? or have any other recommendations?

I notice many hosting companies don't provide Java hosting, worth having or not?

No not yet, it seems like most places give you a free one.

I used to use justhost and if you go to website and keep leaving it they keep coming back you get pop ups offering you cheaper and cheaper....but after one year the price goes up steeply. I now use TSO hosting.

I can highly recommend Vidahost. I've been using them for a few years now and their support has been awesome and very personal when I've had to use it.

Been with hostgator for a few years and never had a problem. Have also got some on stablehost who don't promise the usual unlimited this that and everything else but the server speeds seem better because of it

Hi,

I have been with ChickHost for a while now. Very good, T&C's are clear and direct none of this mad language used in some T&C's. Service is good aswell never had any issues. Thats my suggestion.
