Looks like the 360 hack could be repeated on the Wii.

I'd like to use this for emulators etc.... Will still buy the games outright.

I hope nintendo arnt as slack as M$, I don tthink they would let a hack go unplugged in the same way, they have more to lose.

1 step closer, cant wait for the wii to get hacked it has the most so-so games that i would just like to check for how they implement the wii controller. Nintendo deserve to get ripped off in my opinion for the shameful price of the vc games anyway!!

And what about M$ for there pricing on Xbox Live arcade.

I paid roughly £50 for Link to the Past many years ago on my SNES, to grab this for £5 or so now is a bargain if you ask me.

Hey if ur happy to pay a fiver for a game youve already paid 50 quid for in the past more power to you.
Its just my opinion that a nominal fee like 99 pence is more reasonable although ive got wii points i just cant bring myself to pay the prices theyre asking for the games ok i can understand a fiver for an n64 title but for a nes snes megadrive title its just taking the piss.

its very slightly overpriced. The thing is with zelda is the vast amount of gameplay on offer. I do agree though that a fiver is about £1.50 too dear and that the n64 games should work out at a fiver. Although you can get points cheaper on ebay.

dont see why not. You can get a copy on ebay fairly cheaply but probably still cheaper to buy through the vc.

I'm playing Zelda OoT from the mario kart bonus disc on my wii, so yeah it should work no problem

I dont think it's fair to make a live vs VC comparison. I totally agree the VC games are way over-priced and never intend to pay £5 for games i've already paid for in the past (which is from a huge library of nes/snes/n64/gb games i have).

But on the xbox, at least they arent just plain dumps emulatoed, they add something to it, online multiplayer alone is worth paying £5 for gauntlet, wheras on the Wii it'd just be gauntlet.

So yeah they may be the same price, but you're getting something extra for your cash on live, whereas on wii you're just getting the fact you cant be arsed reconnecting your old console to play the game you've already paid for once.
