can i reprogram my wiinja v2 chip?

as title really guys,


just want to be able to play smg! can i just relash the wiinja v2? (i have an elvis and multiprog) or is it write protected or something and what hex do you recommend

if you're taking it out then why bother considering to reflash it, just get some pic chips for free from microchips.com and put a O/S chip in. I recommend Yaosm.

cheers guys, but what i meant was instead of throwing the wiinja in the bin can i just reflash it with the yaosm?

I highly doubt it mate! The Wiinja team most likely blew the security fuse within the PIC to prevent reverse engineering it!

That also means it cant be re-programmed!

depends if your wiinja v2 was an official one or a 'clone'. the code to make your own wiinja v2's has been around for ages, any made with that are most probably reflashable. If not, as previously mentioned a blank pic chip to do the same job is very cheap.

I just got a blank pic from maplins and flashed it with yaosm and kept my v2 as a backup
