For those of you wondering how you get Golden Guns

Gold Desert Eagle - Get To Level 55
Gold AK-47 - Complete ALL assault rifle challenges
Gold M1014 - Complete ALL shotgun challenges
Gold Dragonov - Complete ALL sniper rifle challenges
Gold M60 - Complete ALL LMG challenges
Gold Mini-Uzi - Complete ALL SMG challenges

that is what i thought mate but i got mine just by playing the game they come soon enough.

i only needed 5 or more head shots, think with the mp44 to get the golden ak47 i went prestige instead

unfortunately hodge, golden guns are not available if your xbox has logged the plugging in of a usb keyboard and mouse
