Is it still the case that these have to be installed on the Wii' internal memory or is there now a way to run them from DVD / SDcard ?

still from the internal memory as of now, they are supposed to be bringing an update out so you can play off the sd, but when that is no-one knows

This would be good if it worked with my new 8gb cards as well (hoopefully the official firmware will follow the HBC)
