Help help needed, backing up new super mario bros wii

i bought my son a red wii which included new super mario bros for xmas, i also got donkey kong and would like to back these up to save wear on the discs as hes only 5 and scratches them easily.

ive got a wiikey fusion installed in the wii which i put in just b4 xmas and im wanting to back both nsmb and donkey kong up to iso/wbfs format so i can load them off an sd card.

my question is that can you back these up from original onto an sd card using the wiikey fusion or even a normal dvd drive. i suppose i could just download an iso from the net but i wanted to make sure i got the full pal versions from my own copies. plus i cannot find a copy of nsmb pal wii that works anyway.

the drive inside the red wii is a new d4 (i think) and will only load from sd card, the chip as mentioned above is wiikey fusion. if anyone can offer advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I would just download them from news groups as I think you need a patch for nsmb
    To stop it freezing.
You need to set USB loader to search for the patch and put it in a folder on the front sd card.
Whenever I tried extracting it from the disk it never worked.

the chip im using has the nsmb fix (apparantly) and its got an external sd card reader attached to it so i can easily load games off sd card. would have been nice to backup my own originals.

Have you got access to The Homebrew Channel? If so, I'd recommend trying Wiiflow as that allowed me to back up all my games to a FAT32 USB partition (it supports ripping to SD card too) at Christmas using its install game function.
