Bethesda's mystery game reveal is Resident Evil creator's Zwei

All those weird teaser vids Bethesda's been entertaining us with? They pertain not to a new Wolfenstein title, or the long-in-absentia Prey 2, or Fallout 4, but to Shinji Mikami's "pure survival horror" endeavour Zwei, revealed last April.

Look out for the first proper details and, dare we say, footage at 5am Pacific, 8am Eastern and 1pm BST. "A true 'survival horror' game is one in which the player confronts and overcomes fear," Mikami commented in a release last year. "I've found my focus and once again I'm striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on in the development of this game to ensure that the quality is there. Rest assured."



A quick recap: Mikami's studio Tango Gameworks was founded to "make new, interesting games the world has never seen" and is dedicated to AAA multiplatform development. Bethesda's parent Zenimax acquired the company in October 2010, mere months after Zwei became a matter of public record.

Here are all the teasers again, for you to scratch your head at. Speaking to OXM, Bethesda's Pete Hines has promised a number of exciting game reveals this year - hopefully they'll do Fallout 4 next.
