I've just been looking to re-VIP and read this the thing is the link at the top doesnt work as people have mentioned but the one at the bottom of this (and all other pages) does give the ability to pay the thing is I dont know if its meant to work or not lol the think is I think its via Quickclick.com and to tell you the truth I know about enough to get myself in bother as far as quickclick, worldpay etc are concerned

btw how much are the subs,

Is the VIP going to be re-enabled in the future, I've picked up some good pointers and answers from here over the years, 25 quid is decent for what I've picked up so far and not sure why I've not considered it earlier.

VIP will be available, but we have no ETA at the moment.

As soon as it becomes available, this thread will be updated. It's recommended to upgrade as soon as its announced for obvious reasons.

A few VIP's that have had their VIP status expire after the period it became unavailable and have contacted staff have been given an extension, members who have expired when it was available or it has been available to them since they expired will just have to wait until it is sorted again, last time I mentioned this to Rap he did say he would sort it when he gets chance but when he sorted it before the most vocal of the people moaning and digging DID NOT then renew so it will have to wait until he has got more time.

I posted here like most because the clear message in this thread was to not bug anyone as it was being looked into... does this mean that I should have contacted someone instead?

For fear of asking the obvious, is there a plan or an eta? We are all looking to support DF afterall.

The answer, so far as there is an answer is quoted in your own thread, this only came up again because a member had an existing sale running when his VIP expired. I had seen this and contacted both he and BB, we will continue to act in exceptional circumstances as we DO monitor the situation. It will happen as soon as possible.......

BB had already extended yours consoles, I DID say I would ask if it was still an issue. . .you have a Months extension. . .

My VIP lapsed when the payment system was down but I checked regularly and once available I didn't hesitate to renew. The VIP payment system had been unavailable before when I wanted to renew so wasn't going to take a chance of being in that position again. Before purchasing anything I ask myself do I really need it but this was a no brainer for me.

It is easy to forget however that most people have families and are paid monthly. Most people didn't expect the payment system to go down again so soon, if at all, and quite possibly that months money was already accounted for. I guess the cost of living for the average DF member has risen quite a bit more than wages under this government and when you have kids there are more immediate priorities.

Unfortunately this is just one of those things that cant be helped and no one is at fault. As BB said Rap will do all he can to get this sorted as soon as possible but it may also be in the members interests to budget for this for the next year if the VIP status is that important to them and they know the money may not be immediately available when the time to renew comes around. (">

Tried to demod myself but have to wait for Rap to do it as it's protected in the config file, just a thankless task which I can accept but having cunts bitch and moan at you questioning every action you take I can't accept so I'm gone.
