Those of us of a certain age (i.e us oldies ), will have fond memories of spending hours on your old 386 playing X-Wing, moving through the years to Tie-Fighter then X-Wing v Tie-Fighter

Well move on 20ish years and we finally have a spiritual successor in the form of the newly announced Star Wars : Attack Squadron.

Used to love the old X-wing games although looking back it was mostly just fly to star destroyer, spin in circles for ages trying to kill stuff. End.

I was just reading about this on maxconsole. It looks amazing. Cant wait to play. XWing was the ultimate star wars game.

X wing and tie fighter were great games, I loved the rewards and awards process. Made me want to play more and more. Other than Battlefield, no game seems to have got that...
