Xbox One games / demos pretty poor

If it wasn't for Battlefield 4 I'd be proper pissed off.
Titanfall was ok for a few hours but even that got pretty same same.

Where are the decent games? Not even any demos out? Piss Poor for the New Xbox tbf
8 years since the last xbox and what I have seen so far is hardly next gen!

What has happened to Kinect sports? They forgot about it now, The Kinnect has no use whatsoever for me. Even the voice commands in BF4 have stopped working.

I think that most games companies are holding on for E3 to make the big announcements and expect a flurry of new titles soon after. PvZ is good fun and cheap to pick up. There are some demos (Lego etc.) but not very awe inspiring. Basically $ony and M$ rushed their consoles to market to get the Christmas sales I think. Ideally they should have been released just before or just after E3 this year to get a better selection of games.

The games will look better as the sdk matures ,think how bad the games looked on the ps3 for the first 18 months .
The dx12 API that's now been released should make a difference .

I said this last generation...and probably the generation before it....

But, its always the same, new gen, a few good launch games and then a drought until the Christmas rush. Devs aren't going to bust their nuts to develop a AAA titles for a fraction of the current market, out of a holiday season.

The problem as I see it at the moment, is that it's a sellers market, not a buyers.
There's no "pool" of games to make an informed choice from, it's quite literally buy what's available or fuck off attitude

Playing plants v zombies at the mo - A title I wouldn't normally have touched with a shitty stick. Granted it's quite fun, but that's not the point.
I'm hoping that when trials comes out on the 18th, that it will hold me for a couple of months and allow a few games to be released in the interim, so the next time I look to buy a game I have a choice, not an obligation.

Yeah I agree no both platforms you end up buying even the shitiest game just for variation sake.

PvZ is fun and am playing that at the mo.

One of the best games on XBONE for me was Max and the curse of the Brotherhood good old fashioned Puzzle platformer but really well put together for £12 as well it is well worth it ;-) checkout me skillz

yes, great little platformer -also recently got a 2gb update which added some content and fixed the framerate issues.

That's the problem with these next gen consoles. Current gen still has a couple of years to go and I think M$ and Pony should have waited....

Also the 2nd hand games market for xbox one is insane at the moment. Got COD Ghost for £10 and its barely been out 6 months.

Waiting for Trials, Watchdogs and The Division...

Played Kinect Sports at the launch event (jet ski and climbing). The climbing aint much better to be honest. Me and my son gave up on it and I never made it to the top. It looked like it would work easily enough but in reality it was quite sucky.

Just as with the game engine SDK the developers will have to get used to the Kinect SDK too so in a couple of generations time these sort of things will be ironed out as the Kinect certainly got the capacity to deliver.

I have to say I think the kinect is still shite on one . Doesn't seem much improved than the last dust gatherer I bought. Gesture control is appalling - trying to navigate the dash is laughable . Titanfall is fun but But hardly a revolution and performance is poor when there's a lot on screen . Preferring Mgs and infamous at the minute on the other box
