I have burnt this twice on different discs (verb and datawrite) and neither works. Wii asks to put in a game at the disc channel.

I updated my wii before I started.

Help

edit: Don't worry, got my thick head on today. I didn't patch the game before I burnt it. Oh well, 2 new coasters for me.

I put the disc in and it tries to update. Is this normal even though I have already updated?

It works now, i'm on 2.2e FW and it updated and worked.

Right, eventually d/l this game, and burnt it to disc, (have WiiFree 2.45, so didn't patch it to make it PAL), and when I put the game in it asks to update, so when I tell it to go ahead, the progress bar climbs up to the top in about 5 seconds, and just sits there, not doing anything!

Stopped it by holding down the power button (I know it might fuck it up, but the thing had frozen), and my Wii still works fine (thank fuck)!

Have now patched it with RegionFrii 1.21, reburnt to disc, and the same thing is happening! Even left it for half an hour, with no luck!! Any ideas?!

BTW my system software is 2.2E

EDIT: Isn't there a program that was created to remove the update from the ISO before burning to disc? If so, does anyone know the name of it??

Use brick blocker mate. It's made by some french bloke called Rockman. Just google for it, it works a treat. You'll need it for other releases (RE4!) so worth finding.

I got that brickblocker but it's telling me that the file isn't a valid Wii ISO file and it won't patch. Anybody had that prob?

The 1st time you run the game make sure your Wii is online.(obviously update to latest fw before hand). Mine kept hanging at the update screen untill I did this.

my Wii's been online since the day I got it mate (launch day), and it was fully up to date with 2.2E, but still kept hanging!

Used Wii Brick Blocker to remove the update from the ISO, reburnt, and now it works like a charm!
